Mayor White

After a 30 year career in education, Kevin White retired as a school administrator and became a Registered Landman and a Realtor. In 2015, he was elected to the Mineola City Council representing Ward 2 and in 2016, became Mayor Pro Temp. Running unopposed, he became Mayor in 2017.

Kevin White currently serves as Vice President of the Wood County camp of the Gideons International. He is also a trustee of the First Baptist Church of Mineola were also serves as a deacon and as a treasurer.

White is a graduate of Mineola High School and recieved his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Texas A&M Commerce and also completed the Bill Ratliff School of Executive Leadership.

Kevin and his wife Lori are parents of a son and two two daughters and have two granddaughters.

City Meetings

You are encouraged to visit with the City Administrator or her designee to determine if your concern, complaint, or suggestion can be given attention before being placed on the agenda.

The City Council will not take action but may refer the item to staff for research and follow-up, may refer the citizen to the appropriate department or schedule the item for a future agenda.

City Council Meetings are held at City Hall in the Council Chambers every fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

All City Council Meetings and all City Advisory Board Meeting Agendas are posted 72 hours prior to scheduled meetings at City Hall.

City facility is handicapped accessible and handicapped accessible parking spaces are available.
